WELCOME TO EAST BOISE YOUTH BASEBALL & SOFTBALL
Welcome to the home site for East Boise Youth Baseball and Softball. EBYBS offers an elite league atmosphere for youth ages 4-16. We serve the entire Boise area and surrounding cities.
We provide the league’s players the opportunity to learn the game of baseball/softball through well organized and competitive play. Our league currently offers fall and spring seasons with an opportunity for selection to one of our All Star teams to compete in summer tournaments.

Spring Season Divisions
The division your player will be in is based on their DOB as per the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth rules. Baseball and softball have slightly different DOB cutoffs. Here are the division age breakdowns:
Baseball
T-ball - 4 & 5 year olds (4 by April 30th, 2025)
Coach Pitch - 6 year olds (6 by April 30th, 2025)
Rookies (Player pitch) - 7 & 8 year olds (7 by April 30th, 2025 )
Minors - 9 & 10 year olds (9 by April 30th, 2025)
Majors - 11 & 12 year olds (11 by April 30th, 2025)
13U Babe Ruth - 13 year olds (13 by April 30th, 2025)
14-16U Babe Ruth - 14-16 year olds (14 by April 30th, 2025)
Softball
T-ball - 4 & 5 year olds (4 by December 31st, 2024)
6U Coach Pitch - (6 by December 31st, 2024)
8U Coach/Player Pitch - (7 by December 31st, 2024,)
10U - 9 & 10 year olds (9 by December 31st, 2024)
12U - 11 & 12 year olds (11 by December 31st, 2024,)
14-16U - 14-16 year olds (14 by December 31st, 2024)
We have lowered the age of entry into T-ball to 4 year olds starting this spring. We have also added a 6U softball coach pitch division in hopes we will have enough interested girls.

REGISTRATION NOTE:
A $20 administration fee will be applied to any requested refunds prior to spring team selection. Once teams have been selected, no refunds will be provided.
Cost to Register
The earlier you register your player, the lower the cost. Each month increases by $20. Here are the rates:
Dec 1 - Dec 31
T-ball, Coach Pitch, Rookies, 6U/8U Softball = $185
Minors, Majors, Babe Ruth, 10U/12U/14-16U Softball = $215
Jan 1 - Jan 31
T-ball, Coach Pitch, Rookies, 6U/8U Softball = $205
Minors, Majors, Babe Ruth, 10U/12U/14-16U Softball = $235
Feb 1 - Feb 14
T-ball, Coach Pitch, Rookies, 6U/8U Softball = $225
Minors, Majors, Babe Ruth, 10U/12U/14-16U Softball = $255
Registration fees cover jerseys, hats/visors, and helps fund field maintenance, umpires, and more.

Spring 2025 Assessment Information:
Assessments will be held in late February/early March as follows:
Baseball (Rookies and up) - Sat Feb 22 and Sat Mar 1 (players will be assigned to one day based on last name)
Softball (8U and up) - TBD
T-ball, Coach Pitch, and 6U Softball will not assess. We will create teams and will take teammate and coach requests only for these divisions.
Assessments are held to determine the skill level of every player. This will enable coaches to create fair teams during the drafts. NO PLAYER WILL BE CUT - EVERYONE WILL MAKE A TEAM! We will not accept any requests for teammates or coaches. If you are concerned that your player is too good or not experienced enough for the division that correlates with their age, they will still need to come to their division assessment. Coaches and assessors will determine if they should move up or down, and it is very rare.
